Tony Bale and Julia Dent took over the almost derelict Blue Bell Public House in November 2009 and have created The Bluebell at Cocking, a Restaurant with Rooms which opened on December the 14th 2009 Tony is a former Master Chef of Great Britain and New Zealand, and in New Zealand he hosted his own cable television show “dish’in it out”
In 2003 Tony and Julia consulted on the opening of Tahini Sushi Bar and Restaurant in the prestigious Porta Portals in Mallorca... The Restaurant was proclaimed the best Japanese Restaurant in Spain. Tony still consults to Tahini and the Mallorcan Fine Cafe Restaurants of Grupo Cappuccino.... Tony and Julia have now worked together for over fourteen years, in restaurants ranging from two rosettes to alfresco dining in the Traumantanas
